Today is a rather important day in the web bot reports, where an important event is meant to take place, they believe the bombing of Iran by Israel and an Iranian retaliation. It's been said that a new moon would be the best time strategically for Israel to do that. Also that the recent fleet movements into the Persian gulf and around China can't be sustained very long without action because of logistic concerns.
A false flag event at the final would also make sense, given how FIFA has been pressuring Mandela to attend and how the US viewership has been the largest of all world cups. Not to mention the logo you just pointed out. Some think it would be a great opportunity for the crown to set up a military presence here and to combat Chinese interests.
