Sunday Times journalist Mzilikazi wa Afrika's case has been thrown out of court, TheTimesLive website reported on Thursday.
"The Kwa Bokweni court prosecutor has declined to prosecute Sunday Times journalist Mzilikazi wa Afrika, saying he has no case to answer," reported the website.
It quoted the prosecutor, a Mr Erwee, as saying he had declined to prosecute him "on the grounds that he has no case to answer".
But Wa Afrika has not been released by the police yet.

So this journalist was arrested, marched to court, where the prosecutors declined to charge him. The person was not released, and after several hours of closed door meetings the charges were re-instated.
The apparent reason is a resignation letter of some sort, but we have monkey Cele claiming at the start of a press conference on this matter:
At a briefing convened to clarify the "incorrect and worse, misleading" article, Cele told reporters in Pretoria on Tuesday he did not sign a R500 million lease agreement for an 18-storey building in the capital city, but only a "needs assessment".
If he had signed the lease, to run over 20 years, it would have meant had not followed correct tender procedures.
Sunday Times editor Ray Hartley said the paper had a copy of the signed lease in its possession.
Wa Afrika was arrested a day after Cele called him a "very shady journalist", and when asked if he would take action against the reporter, he replied: "Time will tell".
The crux of the Selebi problem is not that a single man fell, but that he represnts what still stands in govt, claiming all authority over us.

Well I'm not the media. After a bit of thought, the media has never done me any favours either. In fact, they continue to do worse than any government ever could, being that they're still the most powerful tool that the sad excuses for beings on this planet have.
All they do is maintain the image that they're righteous and about freedom, attacking politicians--puppets with no real power--all the while protecting their income. Now they're being used to draw public outrage because the shites with fat wallets have lost their sense of humour about the black government. Fuck the media. They'll get my support when they do an honest article on the effects of everything they lied to us about.
We're still getting deluged with how hot this summer is around the world, conveniently ignoring that the winter is also the coldest on record. But no, no money in global cooling. "Everybody panic, here comes the dreaded H1N1!" They're terrorist mercenaries hiding behind free speech. Fuck the media.
You're forgetting that the anc is shouting about having won freedom, but it's the liberal media that did. Without constant white liberal media support, it could never have happened. The anc are EXACTLY the nats, animal farm IS here.
Politician puppets are nothing agreed, but they are if nothing else paid to do a job, like all of us. They are doing it badly, and telling them they're doing badly is NOT treason, it's nothing more than good citizenship.
Granted the problems run deeper, but if we win this fight, perhaps more truths will be revealed, more court cases etc.

I don't think that at this point it matters what happens to a politician. Does it ever? How many times have we heard about corrupt councillors being shown the door or arrested, sometimes because the people were about to murder them. Has the conviction of the former head of interpol been any good to anyone, apart from expensive entertainment?
The money system is broken, it breeds corruption, and that includes the whorish media. Without going to the root of the problem we'll just be fighting the same old losing battle because it's the enemy's game on their turf. I would bet anything that politicians of "less corrupt" countries like America, Germany or France are several orders more corrupt than anyone in the ANC could ever hope to be. But just because they have enough intelligence to hide it, or it's not in the best interest of whoever owns most of the media to publish anything negative about them, they get to get away with the same shit over and over. I'd pick ou knopkop Zuma the Rapist over Mosanto any day of the week.
In a case like this, a fight between satan's son and satan's daughter, I'm definitely not going to throw in with either of them. When I read about this, the same occurred to me "WTF is going on here?". This doesn't make sense. After watching how the SA media tried it's damndest to start a race war after Terre'Blanche's murder, I can only deduce that it's in the current interest of whoever owns most of these *spit* to not only get rid of the ANC, but to completely destabilise the country. All they're accomplishing is fulfilling prophesy.
