Just a few quick pics, i'll be honest in saying i didn't get as many picturs as i wanted to. Rather, i have plenty images, just not very many good ones.
But, what an amazing day, all round. 35000 bikes, 35000 toys,and about 60000 people on the day.

The day before, 3 bikes parked outside the main hall. This is one of my favourite bike pics i've taken yet.
The good marshalls of Steeldale. Respect to you all. Despite all the worries, concerns, dangers and such, it went like clockwork. A well oiled machine is a beautiful thing to behold.
The fine men of the JMPD, we had a good chat. And they were also very good at what they do. Just a question though, why was my BIGGEST problm on the day metro closing highways?Ended with me shouting through my helmet, and over several hundred close-by bikes, that another 10000 bikes were about to hit the tailback he'd just created. So i took over, cleared the traffic, and then moved on to where he'd closed the OTHER highway, *chuckle*. That one needed closing though, an a mercedes benz is now driving around JHB with a punchmark in the boot lid. I don't take kindly to people trying to run me over.
And the run, this was the carnival city crowd, Joe Perreira out in front ....apparently he's some kind of biker hero, bad boy or something. I'm glad he fucked off to carnival city, he was on our run last year, and was our single biggest problem. He was selling his new book too. Bad boys .... go play in traffic the lot of you. Not an ounce of common sense between the lot of them.
But what a sight hey?
I'll find some pics of the toys, the photos i took inside didn't come out well, and to be honest the toys were less than last year. But thousands and thousands of toys got processed and sorted within hours, and by the day end, all had been collected by the various charities.
A logistical nghtmare carried though with military precision.
I was so proud to be involved, respect to everyone who put any many hours of hard work in to make this possible.
