South Africans fleeced by taxes

It's official.

"Johannesburg - Tax experts reckon South Africans are among the most heavily taxed people almost anywhere on earth."

Go figure. I would imagine that it's not wrong per se, but the fact that in addition to being heavily taxed, we receive NOTHING in return. You cannot o to a government hospital, for fear of your life. You cannot go to a police station and expect help. You cannot walk freely in the streets. Our electricity is about to collapse, as is our water. We pay for everything, and in many cases, we pay double, ie police and private security.

"Finweek said that currently, 25% of individual taxpayers pay 75% of all personal income tax, which contributes close to 30% of total revenue to the fiscus."

The middle class are paying the bulk, as the rich have their tax write offs, like new mecedes-benzes, and the richest of the bunch, the anc oficials, probably have so many perks and exceptions they get back each year.

Like most south africans, i don't begrudge uplifting the poor, BUT THAT IS NOT HAPPENING!!!! The poor are staying poor, getting poorer in fact. And the anc? They just partying partying partying, any excuse, and any expense, nothing is too good for the comrades. They are drinking our country to death, not to mention stealing breaking profiteering looting and fucking over anyone else.

The tax man cometh. In addition to over 50% of petrol money going to tax, and the bad roads which we WILL PAY for which they are currently resurfacing, electricity is going up 45% each year for the next 3 years. It's unsustainable. Companies are closing, and the much needed jobs evaporating. Thie that have jobs are so tightly squeezed they always on strike.

I know i'm fucked. It's only a matter of time before i can't pay all the bills. What goes first? Medical insurance? The house (i can't sell becase the market is fucked), taxes? The bike (public transport would cost the same, and take literally about 6/7 times as long to get to work and back), electricity?

I'm NOT alone, and frankly, i'm kind of happy to see this simple fact acknowledged.

And yet we will keep taking it up the ass until killing is the only option left to us.

The infrastructure needs to get so bad that people can't get their antidepressant prescriptions filled any more.

So many people are on the happy pills that you seemingly don't have a choice whether to take them or not:

Luckily the coming derivatives collapse will spare no one, save for the ones that are the real culprits, the people with soul vacuum. Should make them easy to spot.
