Surely kind sir this story has two sides? I am not condoning what Yisrael is doing with its onslaught but being continiously provoked by the "enemy" may have resulted in this retaliation.

The threat is simple and inaccurate rockets fired from a relatively small area. There are countless anti rocket systems available that are NOT being used.
Not to mention the fact that HAMAS and similar organisation would simply lose all support if (for example) the isrealis substituted medicines and school material for bombs.
Would be a helluva lot cheaper too.
