Do you still remember
December's foggy freeze
when the ice that
clings on to your beard is
screaming agony.
And you snatch your rattling last breaths
with deep-sea-diver sounds,
and the flowers bloom like
madness in the spring.
Sun streaking cold
an old man wandering lonely.
Taking time
the only way he knows.
Leg hurting bad,
as he bends to pick a dog-end
he goes down to the bog
and warms his feet.
Thank you Ian Anderson and Jethro Tull
A good winter song for the winteriness outside. A hot fire, warm drink, and hopefully a warm atmosphere, and you can sit inside and marvel at the inhospitability of the outdoors. That being said, i want a bike ride. Fast, alone, long winding roads and the freezing air flapping at you and reminding you to stay alive.

I love riding in the freezing air. Also that balmy time just before a storm. Guess I was born weird. You have to admit, though, a warm fire and a whiskey taste so much better if you feel you've earned them, don't they?
Nope, warm fire and whiskey good ANYtime!! lol
I don't mind the cold as much as most round here, the cold does something, if you accept it with a smile ;-)
And storms ... don't even get me started man, we're both weird that way then :)
peace and love irondad
