For a long time we've increasingly given over our thoughts and our lives to whoever had the ability to shout into our souls the loudest.
From somewhere we got the image of a spotless and perfect hero, and it's driven us to be terrified of failure. So we've avoided confrontation with what we felt was wrong, because it was convenient and everyone was doing it. We've had twisted and ruined versions of our own ideas and our own lives sold back to us, which we gave up in good faith to the wrong people when it wasn't simply taken away, and we've been weakened to the point where the darkness could take us over if we decided we wanted to be part of it.

I couldn't help but marvel at the prose, well written and clear. The ideas resonating in my mind like being on the inside of a great big bell. And a sub harmony from Terri came through in her latest post:
Subject all humans to the machinations of a marketing and media organism which has as its one objective hypnotising people into believing that owning material goods equals power and worth, while at the same time making sure that the poor do not ever have enough nutritious food to eat - substitute junk food made from real junk, and watch those minds fail to grow and thrive.

Thanks for the link, bud
I keep losing you on the right :/
Recall you not posting for like, years. Added again, i'll leave it alone ;-)
I really like what found there, especially Regeneration. There's something about mixing words into shapes that appeals to me. I have a poster of Poe's "The Raven" on my garage wall, fonted into a skull :)
But the thoughts and ideas coming out so clearly, almost poetically ... i hope it helps calm you, as my ranting here does :D
peace and love friend
One of the saddest things I've seen is the loss of ability for people to think for themselves.
Being one of a mindless crowd is "safe" however. I shudder to think.
It's worse when the crowd is being manipulated, against their knowledge.
What's that saying about the strongest prison is in the mind?
peace irondad!
