TOYRUN!!!

So following on the previous post, i am getting SO excited about the Toyrun. It's happening !!!

So we're doing the Oosrand this year, brand new venue, a blank sheet. Last year was great, but too many little problems made it into a less than perfect venue. So this year we're starting off with some new start venues, a new end venue, and a whole bunch of highways and roads to transverse.

Following on think bike's shame, they have completely abandoned our cause. Double shame. Thankfully, not all bikers are as bad, and we already have a huge team of guys from a number of places, some TB, some helivac, some private, and we're getting more guys from elsewhere too. I believe that the TOYRUN is a biker event, by bikers for bikers and most importantly for the kids who receive the toys.

It's ALL about TOYS ---> KIDS ... it cannot be simpler than that. And despite the many stupids who really are trying to damage us, it's not working. Toyrun is strong because Toyrun is for good. No politics, no BS, toys or bust.

Start thinking about how many ways you could turn R100 into as many happy kids as possible. R100 could be tens sets of colouring books and crayons, R100 could be 10 personal hygiene packs, R100 could be a BAG full of sports equipment. These are kids who have NOTHING, and while the teddy bear is the symbol, i hope that people are smarter than to think a teddy bear is what all kids want or need. Any and all ideas are gratefully received, and we would love fresh ideas on how to make this event bigger ... and the pile of toys bigger too.
