Well here's something that is entirely natural, beautiful, and interesting all at the same time: The Lunar Perigee.
Go have a look here, it says that the difference in apparent size between perigee and apogee is as much as 12%! Quite a bit when you think of it.
I don't know what, if any, affects it would bring, there is a LOT we could discuss and theorise about that, but hey, as a lunatic this makes my day! ... erm NIGHT :D

My son and i stood outside for about half an hour, waiting for the hole in the clouds to move under the moon. *grin* was worth it.
Great to be able to have a good excuse to look at the moon ... i shoulda howled in fact, LOL.
