A suspected burglar suffered burn injuries and died after being hit by a home-owner with a paraffin lamp in Grahamstown, SABC news reported on Sunday.
Police said the 25-year-old man was trying to break into a house at the Joza informal settlement when the owner hit him on the head with the burning lamp.
The man sustained serious burn wounds and died at Settlers hospital.
The 23-year-old home-owner was arrested and would face a murder charge, the SABC reported. - Sapa
Um, yeah what can i say. Somebody fought back, and is now on a murder charge. What a fucking waste of our resources. He was home, asleep and was attacked. Hardly a threat to society, and he's just had his life totalled by the free ANC government.

They way I used to understand this was that one would be charged for manslaughter. This one can understand, a life was lost. But murder makes no sense. What kind of premeditation did this guy have.Protecting his family and property?? Is that bad? Shit..it pisses me off
