So Michelin took the tyre and inspected it, the issues are apparently due to low pressure.
I know 100% that the tyre was 2,5 bar at the time of the issue, which is what they recommend.
But i also know winter is a cow because your tyres go flat in the cold, and you have to keep monitoring it. At 10 000km they make a fair point that the tyre had performed quite well so far.
So here's my summary:
Pilot Road 4s are NOT as good as Pilot Road 3s, and thus Pilot Road 5s are not necessarily better than the 4s.
Underinflation of the tyre even as low as 2 bar WILL damage the tyre in new and interesting ways.
The duel compound tyres suffer damage from underinflation that doesn't affect older tyres.
Michelin score 10/10 for responding in the way they did, with a detailed analysis of my tyres and the reasons for wear. i don't really agree with them but that doesn't matter. It is not arguable.
Another 10/10 for giving half price on a front tyre. They didn't have to and did anyway. That i can't use it for 2 years because i've just fitted new tyres is a different problem.
I'll send the report if anyone is interested, but i'm 100% happy and will probably by Michelins again.
They've never actually let me down on grip.

Michelin Pilot Road 4
This happened at 120-130 km/h on the n14n at 7am in the morning. Tyres are 13 months old, back tyre included for comparison.
Showing them to friends and family, it's been suggested that i brake or corner too hard, laughable really that a 600 commuter bike can destroy tyres that track riders tear to shreds.
So it cost R4500 for tyres that gave me 1 year before endangering my life.
Thanks michelin, keep your fancy expensive tyres, i'll get something a tad more reliable in future, thanks.

SocMed - Blogspot wins
Hey internet world, it's been a long time since i've been in this corner. 2016.
So i've been elsewhere, twitter in fact, mostly. It's very lazy, i know, convenient, cool, happening. To be honest i never really got much interaction here, a few friends certainly but nothing close to the overwhelming numbers and interactions and idea bubbles over there.
I have been sent to twitterjail for telling someone to go kill themselves without taking us with. But uh, i've also been a bit of a loudmouth about other stuff, no surprises there either.
The world is on fire, everything we feared has come true, and what we couldn't even imagine has become our daily diet of experience and information. I've always been a conspiracy theorist and lately i'm totally overwhelmed by the amount of verifications in the ether. It's all real, it's mostly bad, and it really is not going to continue very long.
I'm both pleasantly surprised and immensely please that Blogspot has been so patient with me, i keep coming and looking at my lack of input and i always am amazed at how BIG the internet really is. Twitter and Facebook and Youtube are just 3 websites out of billions, and Blogspot has reliably been a outlet for anyone to just ... be on the internet. I guess i'd still need a youtube to post here, like my previous post with camera footage, but i think you know what i mean. I've created a bitchute now, let's see how that is, and Gab is kind of fun too, just so narrow it's quite fustrating. I love what they're trying to do, but they're not there yet.
Where is there? I'm not sure to be honest, twitter is perfect except for the CONSTANT politically correct social conditioning / overwhelming propaganda pushed at everyone. I was told to give twitter a break for my own mental health, but i was blocked in the middle of a great conversation i was having with others on lanesplitting, a real pleasure to connect and share.
Well, in my 20 odd years online, Blogspot wins everything. Just by shutting up and BEING THERE. At this point in time i'm probably more grateful than i've ever been. Let's see how it goes, i get the feeling twitter hasn't even started with mass blockings, it's inevitable given their blatant bias and interference so far. So what is next i have no idea, the goal is obviously the most influential users as possible, with small soundbite size packets of data which can expand. Blogspot is a very in depth kind of thing, i mean even this small blurb is already an A4 page long, and if you've read this far WELL DONE!!!
Carry on regardless.
