So after picking up a stompie on twitter, i offered to host this short story on my blog. I offer it as is, without any changes, edits or comments even. I do not endorse this version of events, nor do i have any connection with the lady concerned, other than twitter. Comments will be open unless abuse appears in which case i will take further action.
Quintin will be given right of reply, and i hope he takes the time to respond.

My brother in-law got caught up in some bad habits with drugs etc. He was arrested for theft and we realized how serious his problem was. He was accepted into Noupoort but after all the bad publicity about their program I contacted @imthedrugexpert Quintin van Kerken form Antidrug Alliance to get his thoughts on Noupoort. He immediately shared his story of escaping from Noupoort with broken ribs etc. and advised me to rather use their program “clear options” run by Antidrug Alliance. I was at the airport flying out from Mozambique as this is where I live when I made contact the first time this was Sunday Dec 7 2014. I contacted him as soon as I arrived in JHB. We exchanged emails and he said he works in conjunction with an in-house rehab program at LeGae. He said he has spoken to the owner and they have a bed for my brother in-law available. We were in contact all through the Monday 8 Dec. he was saying that I should pay all the money into his account as it will look good on both NPO bank accounts. He will then pay the money over to his partner at Legae. We arranged for him to be taken to the rehab the Tuesday 9 Dec 2014. On the way there he asks if we could bring the money in cash as he needs to pay salaries and will save him from going to the bank. And his accounts lady will prefer that because of the rush to get my brother in-law admitted. We met him outside his residents and he drove with us to the rehab facility. On arrival he introduced us to the house “manager “and some of the guys living there. He then requested we quickly sort out the payments. I gave him R22000 cash he said he was in a rush apparently his brother in-law was waiting for him as he had to collect his car that was in for a service. He left us there and disappeared. After a week my brother in law called and said that the guys at LeGae do not pay to stay there. I then contacted the owner and found out that it is the case. I informed him about the situation with Quintin van Kerken and he was horrified to hear that he’s institution was being dragged into his lies and fraud.
Together Gordon and I started looking into Quintin’s story. And he used LaGae to get the money from me. LaGae has opened a fraud case and I will be doing the same as soon as I arrive in SA. After 2 weeks of not being to see my brother in law with the so called counseling program I paid for, I contacted Quintin to request a refund. Note I still don’t have a signed contract as he never gave me one. He then said he will do the refund but instead send me a lawyer’s letter to say I was in breach of contract. And that he has a no refund policy. Excuse my ignorance but if you don’t deliver a service that was paid for surely then you are in breach of contract??? None the less I heard he went on holiday with my money and he was in serious financial trouble. I then contacted his partner in Cape Town Andrew and he was going to get back to me. Its 1 month later and no word. Do not trust Quintin van Kerken aka @imthedrugexpert. I will keep on warning people about him. Should have known better to trust an x druggy/convict that goes around a boast about his jail time for attempted murder.
So you can go ahead and steal people’s money by defrauding them and then hide behind your no refund policy after you did not provide counseling services paid for.
